Jobs Outsourced was founded by Christian Lehmann in 2015. With the help of Techstars Sam Faulkner and Jason Smith, the company went from being a bright idea to a thriving business that solved a problem for hundred of companies. This is our story.
Founder and Managing Director of JO, Christian, was looking for a better way to connect experienced digital specialists with businesses without the headache of sifting through loads of bids or having to go through an official recruitment process.
Christian got in touch with Codium Techstars Sam Faulkner and Jason Smith who saw potential in the idea of building a platform to hire digital marketing specialists in the cloud. Founding members of Codium (a custom software development company), Sam and Jason, had experienced the same problems Christian had and were happy to jump on-board to execute the idea.
After 9 months of wire-framing, coding, meetings, sleepless nights and many litres of white tea and health juiced we launched our very first MVP (minimum viable product)!
Our clients were so pleased with the service provided that they started requesting additional marketing services. Eventually JO rolled out 110 package options for clients to essentially build their very own marketing team.
A memorable time for us as it marks the month that the advisory board was formed. We welcomed Magdalena Kusyk (our 'Savvy Strategist') and Damin Murdock (our 'Legal Legend') to the team. We also added Karla Pope and Jess Costello - our 'Digital Marketing Superstars'!
With increasing requests from happy clients we welcomed Steve, Trent and Adam into the team as our 'Whiz Kid Developers'. Our website was upgraded to what it is today - a super easy platform that connects businesses with working professionals around the world.
